**Our volunteer orientations are now resuming!!! We will no longer be doing them on a weekly basis but instead scheduled weeks. You must call 914-372-7433 or 914-372-7434 to reserve your spot! The currents dates are 9/26 (5pm) and 9/27 (10am, 11am, 12pm)**
Volunteers are invited to apply to work in the various animal care areas. Skilled electricians, plumbers and carpenters are also needed. In addition, there is a need for volunteers willing to do manual labor in a variety of construction and maintenance projects. We welcome volunteers with experience in bathing and grooming, training, T-Touch, adoption counseling, data entry, filing, and office work.
People interested in applying for our volunteer opportunities should contact the Sanctuary Volunteer Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please also sign up for our mailing list (you can do so in the left sidebar) so that we can keep you updated on volunteer opportunities and requests! Thank you so much for caring.
We welcome your "well-behaved" children. There is no minimum age for volunteers at Pets Alive Westchester, we ask only that all volunteers be willing and able to follow directions from staff and senior volunteers. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and must stay with you the entire day. We also welcome your school or organization projects.
Required for ALL volunteers
We will have set dates for orientations so please call anytime to reserve your spot. Typically our orientations are held on Saturdays, but we occasionally do other days when in demand.
If our times don't work for you, please email email@example.com to arrange to have an orientation on another day if possible (we can not guarantee that we can accomodate you, but your volunteering is important to us, so we will do our best!)
