Our dear Biscuit not a day goes by that we do not think of you. You brought us so much joy and happiness and saying good bye to you was the hardest thing we had to do. RIP our Biscuit - we will love you forever!

In 2000, Buddy was a shelter manager at Elmsford--you would see a human behind the desk, another human and then Buddy in his own chair with a "May I Help You?" look on his face. Behind the desk, he comforted old dogs and disciplined puppies. Dogs, who recognized a great soul, would lay down before him in the street. We miss you, Bud.

In memory of Yeats, the greatest dog a girl could ask for. Whether he was curled up next to me, swimming in rivers and lakes, or getting into the garbage again, he did everything with love, even if it did get him in trouble sometimes.
He was born a dog but died a gentleman.

In loving memory of sweet little Zorrie - a happy-go-lucky girl who was taken too soon, but is held fast in the heart of her parents, Sig and Nik.
Sending love their way from the Spiegel family.

In memory of our beloved Golabi (March 1997 - May 11, 2011). No other cat will ever have his unique combination of exceptional intelligence, strong personality, sense of humor, and curiosity. We will miss his gorgeous face, square jaw, little mole over his right eye, and long lean arms. He was always brave, even through his terrible illness. Life will never be the same without our Golabi. |

Chewbacca, aka Chewy graced our home for 5 yrs after being found roaming a nearby neighborhood. He was sweet & spunky & got along well with my 3 cats. His favorite friend was Bo the cat, who would lie on his back while Chewy ran circles around him under the coffee table. They were a hoot to watch. We all miss Chewy! All our pets came to us as strays but Chewy was our only bunny. Randy says there is some sort of animal magnet that draws them to our home. |

In Memory of Sandy. Sandy was special, she brought smiles to everyone she met. We miss our friend and team member and thank Heidi Fox for bringing her to the office and sharing her with the JPI Team! |

In loving memory of our beloved “MIMI” (Dec. 1994-Mar 12, 2010) – who came to our home at the age of 3 from the Elmsford Animal Shelter and automatically became our princess. We’ll miss you passionately.

In memory of Parker Nathaniel Hutchinson Jasper Shearer, our beloved tan and gold cocker spaniel, who joined our family (adopted from the Elmsford Animal Shelter) on February 20, 2000 and departed this life on June 18, 2007. Parker spent summers with us in Vermont, where he swam in lakes and ran off-leash in mown meadows. We hope he's doing that now! |

In memory of Alan Burnstine's and Laura Appelbaum's beloved cat Corners, who, at the beginning of her life many years ago, was a "graduate" of the Elmsford Animal Shelter. |

Mickey (1992 - 2009) He was an exciting indoor and outdoor cat, from sitting in our laps to chasing dogs and climbing trees to the top. His last three years, he only had three legs. His right rear leg was lost to cancer; however, within a couple of weeks he was back to his usual activities. He was inspiring. We loved him!
